بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ

By the time,

WHY IT GIVES YOU PAUSEAllah swears by time itself, the very thing slipping away with every scroll. What is being lost right now cannot be bought back.

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ

man is in utter loss,

WHY IT GIVES YOU PAUSELoss is the default state of a person drifting through their hours. Only deliberate, intentional living escapes it.

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ

except those who believe and do righteous deeds, and exhort one another to the truth and exhort one another to patience.
